Our Staff

We are a licensed preschool program through the Department of Early Education and Care. All teachers have knowledge and experience in Early Education. Additionally, we have extensive backgrounds in working with children and families.

Victoria Gadsden has a business degree and over twentyyearsexperince working with children, she has been a licensed vendor for the state of Massachusetts for over thirteen years where she owned a business of a Nanny Screening and Placement agency. Mrs. Gadsden is a certified teacher through the Department of Early Education and Care. Ms. Gadsden is also a Special Needs Advocate for the State of Massachusetts as well as a certified Playmaker through Life is Good.Vicky Donna O’Neill has great experience in working with children over the past eighteen years, and is currently working towards an early childhood degree. Ms O’Neill has taught CCD classes for multiple children’s age groups and has also run a successful Girl Scout troop within the town of Randolph for many years.Inaddition Ms O’Neill has been the president for Randolph school parent teacher associations. Ms O’Neill is a certified teacher through the Department of Early Education and Care.

Donna

Penny Harrison has a Master’s Degree in Human Services and for over fifteen years worked in the field of child welfare, specializing in adoption. Ms. Harrison is also a certified Pre K-Grade 2 teacher through the Department of Education.

Loren Phinney has been a member of the Knowledge Tree Preschool since 2015.  Ms. Loren has worked extensively with the youth in Randolph for over 5 years.   In addition to her work at the Knowledge Tree, Ms. Phinney also works for the Randolph Recreation Department as the Special Events and Marketing Coordinator.  She has also been an Arts and Crafts Director for the Randolph Summer Camps, the Director of the Kids Club summer camp program and worked in the before and after school program at the Randolph Public Schools.   Ms. Phinney is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education at Dean College.

Dorisabel Silva-Leonard’s son is a graduate of the Knowledge Tree.  She has been a staff member of the Knowledge Tree Preschool since 2013.  Mrs. Silva-Leonard has a wealth of experience working with young children.  In addition to her work at the Knowledge Tree, Mrs. Silva-Leonard works in the after school program at the Randolph Public Schools.   Mrs. Silva-Leonard has also been  the director of the Kids Klub summer camp for the Randolph Recreation Department.  Mrs Silva-Leonard is a certified teacher through the Department of Early Education and Care and is working toward her Associate’s Degree in Child Care Education and Administration.

Doris

Diana Karthas has been our early childhood music teacher since 2007.  She has a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts with advanced studies in Music and Early Childhood Education.  Ms. Karthas has been teaching music to young children for over 20 years.  She also offers private piano, guitar and voice lessons.
